I was minding my own business, drinking delicious, delicious craft beer, when suddenly an illegal immigrant appeared. First MG TF I’ve seen on this side of the pond. Had Baja plates, but that’s still a surprise, because I had no idea they sold MGs in Mexico. Anyway, I thought it was interesting. Good lookin’ car. Sorry for the bad picture.

I didn’t think Mexico had any import restrictions like Canada and the US does. So it very well be legal in mexico

The Rover K series is a decent engine when it’s not eating gaskets.

I don’t know specifics, but I have a bunch of friends down in Baja who have led me to believe that it’s pretty tough to import cars down there. One buddy found a VW bug in CA, but didn’t end up buying it because he couldn’t get it ‘nationalized’, whatever that means. My best guess is that they probably sold them on a small scale over on the mainland somewhere.

I don’t know man. The one I saw was pretty spiffy. Mid-engine too.

Eh. I’ll give it a 6 1/2. They can’t all be winners. Thanks for the feedback. We here at 911e46z06 value your opinion.
